3. The free plugin
The free plugin is licensed under the GNU GPL v2 or later and provided “as is”, without warranty, as the GPL states.
4. Buying Pro
Pro is sold by Freemius, Inc. as our reseller and merchant of record. Freemius takes payment, issues invoices and handles sales tax. A licence runs for one year from purchase and renews automatically until you turn renewal off. When it ends, Pro features switch off; the free plugin keeps working.
5. Refunds
If Pro is not right for you, ask within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. This does not limit any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
6. Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for fines or claims by regulators or third parties, indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; for the free plugin, that amount is zero.
These limits do not apply to intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, or where the law of your country does not allow them.
If you use CookieSure for a business, you agree to hold us harmless from claims that arise from how you configured or used it.
7. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country still apply.
