We build the cookie plugin we wanted to use ourselves.
CookieSure is made by a small team that builds WordPress plugins. We were tired of cookie banners that ask for consent while the site keeps sending data anyway, so we built one that fixes the cause first.
Most cookie plugins add a banner. We wanted fewer cookies.
A banner alone does not stop Google Fonts, YouTube or Maps from sharing your visitors' data. It only asks for permission on top of everything your site already sends.
So CookieSure starts with a scan, removes what can be removed with one click, counts visitors without cookies, and shows a small, fair banner only for what is left. Fewer cookies, a lighter banner, and a site that is easier to keep private.
Four rules we build by
Step 1: Fix before you ask
If something can be made private without a banner, we do that first. Consent is for what really needs it.
Step 2: Private for us too
The plugin does not call home. Your visitors' data stays on your site, and nothing about them reaches us.
Step 3: Fair by design
Reject is as easy as Accept, every time. No dark patterns, no pre-ticked boxes.
Step 4: Plain words
We explain what each service does in words a site owner understands, not a list of hostnames.

The free plugin on WordPress.org has everything a small site needs and stays free. CookieSure Pro adds tools for sites that change often, shops and agencies, and those licences pay for our work.
